Joseph D. Amarilio is a Partner at Elfenbaum Evers Amarilio & Zielinska, P.C. Joe has represented injured workers and their families since 1979, passionately fighting for them against insurance companies and corporations. He zealously protects his clients’ rights, interests and needs. Joe never, ever gives up. He rolls up his sleeves and works with his clients in a team effort approach to reach the best medical and financial recovery possible under the law.
Joe has been recognized as one of the Nation’s Top Injured Workers’ Attorneys as well as one of America’s Most Honored Professionals. He has also been recognized for 20 years of distinguished service as well as sustained an outstanding commitment to public service by The Pro Bono Center for Disability and Elder Law. He graduated with a degree in Political Science from Northwestern University in 1975, and from law school at the John Marshall School of Law in 1979, where he was the Associate Managing Editor of the Law Review.
Joe is married with three children, two grandchildren, and a dog named Ziggy.
